ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE

When health is absent, wisdom cannot reveal itself, art cannot become manifest, strength cannot be exerted, wealth is useless, reason is powerless.

What is ART? Active Release Technique (ART)

Active Release Technique (ART) is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. A combination of healing the nerves with chiropractic care, restoring the muscle function with Active Release Technique, and correcting poor mechanics with an ergonomic assessment has resulted in a high success rate of helping patients correct their problem and live pain free. This approach is drastically different than the typical treatment of covering up the problem with pain medications, surgical procedures and braces.

Who can benefit from ART?

Anyone who suffers from common problems such as headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow. In recent years, ART has become increasingly popular among athletes who are looking to continue to compete at a high level of performance without the set backs of surgery and the dangers of overusing pain medications. Not only does Active Release have a strong presence at the Ironman Triathlon; but, large companies are looking to ART to reduce employee injuries and costs through the ART Corp Solutions program. We commonly care for athletes with chronic overuse injuries such as runners and golfers; but, also patients who tell us they can’t get through their work day due to pain. Our patient’s success stories say enough!

Before coming to see Dr. Jason, I saw another chiropractor and got only 10% of the attention I get here. Since coming I’ve noticed more flexibility, more strength and less pain. I am sleeping so much better. I have a faster recovery from running with Active Release.

I wish I could tell all athletes about the benefits of Active Release. This would be sort of my one stop shopping for my muscles and my spine.
